В настоящее время одним из ведущих направлений обеспечения здоровья населения является своевременная и квалифицированная стоматологическая помощь. Телестоматология позволяет расширить возможности консультирования, наблюдения, осмотра и коррекции лечения, что, в свою очередь, улучшает доступность и качество стоматологических услуг, особенно в тех случаях, когда личное взаимодействие врача и пациента ограничено.</p><p>Цель исследования — проанализировать динамику показателей, характеризующих доступность и потребность населения России в стоматологической, в т. ч. хирургической, помощи в 2010–2022 гг., и обосновать организационные предпосылки применения телемедицинских технологий (телестоматологии) для повышения доступности профилактики и консультаций.</p></sec><sec><title>Материалы и методы</title><p>Материалы и методы. Исследование выполнено путем анализа данных Федеральной службы государственной статистики, касающихся динамики изменения потребностей в стоматологической помощи населению на территории России за период с 2010 по 2022 г.</p></sec><sec><title>Результаты и обсуждение</title><p>Результаты и обсуждение. За 2010–2022 гг. отмечено сокращение числа стоматологических организаций при росте численности стоматологов и увеличении количества операций челюстно-лицевой области. Доля населения, охваченного профилактическими осмотрами, снизилась, особенно после 2020 г., что указывает на недостаточную доступность и организацию стоматологической помощи, особенно в сельской местности.</p></sec><sec><title>Заключение</title><p>Заключение. В системе здравоохранения России сформирован кадровый резерв стоматологов, который может быть использован для дистанционного консультирования. Внедрение телестоматологии способно решить проблему территориальной доступности для села и временных издержек для города, а также повысить охват профилактикой, что снизит нагрузку на хирургическое звено.</p></sec></abstract><trans-abstract xml:lang="en"><sec><title>Introduction</title><p>Introduction. Currently, one of the leading priorities in ensuring public health is the provision of timely and qualified dental care. Teledentistry enables the expansion of consultation, monitoring, examination, and treatment adjustment capabilities, which in turn improves the accessibility and quality of dental services, particularly in situations where personal interaction between the physician and patient is limited.</p><p>The aim of this study is to analyze the dynamics of indicators characterizing the availability and demand of the population of the Russia for dental (including surgical) care during 2010–2022, and to substantiate the organizational prerequisites for the application of telemedicine technologies (teledentistry) to enhance the accessibility of preventive care and consultations.</p></sec><sec><title>Materials and methods</title><p>Materials and methods. The study was conducted through the analysis of data from the Federal State Statistics Service concerning changes in the population’s need for dental care in Russia between 2010 and 2022.</p></sec><sec><title>Results and discussion</title><p>Results and discussion. During 2010–2022, the number of dental organizations decreased, while the number of dentists and maxillofacial surgeries increased. The share of the population covered by preventive examinations declined, particularly after 2020, indicating insufficient accessibility and organization of dental care, especially in rural areas.</p></sec><sec><title>Conclusions</title><p>Conclusions. Russia’s healthcare system has established a personnel reserve of dentists that can be utilized for remote consultations.
