Интенсивный показатель заболеваемости сифилисом по Республике Дагестан более чем в 5 раз ниже, чем в РФ. В то же время удельный вес позднего скрытого сифилиса в республике Дагестан в 2017 году составляет 38,2% (24,2% в РФ). В республике Дагестан «вассерманизация» декретированного контингента и определяет «львиную долю» показателя заболеваемости сифилисом. В тоже время специалистами АПУ всех профилей кроме дерматовенерологов в Дагестане выявлено 13,2%, что ниже среднероссийских и окружного показателей (17,6% и 16,8% соответственно). В этом направлении есть потенциал и необходимо активизировать работу всех АПУ, пациенты которых составляют группу риска по заболеваемости сифилисом. Удельный вес больных сифилисом, выявленных при различных видах медицинских осмотров в СКФО и Дагестане приблизительно одинаковый (18,7% и 21,3% соответственно) к числу больных с вновь установленным диагнозом. Но статистические показатели существенно разнятся в зависимости от видов медицинских осмотров. отмечаются нулевые показатели нашего региона в сравнении с рФ (12,7%) и СКФО (6,9%) в графе «при профилактических осмотрах». Это направление активного выявление инфицированного сифилисом населения в Дагестане нуждается в «реанимации» и поэтапному внедрению. В тоже время установлено, что работа с половыми и бытовыми контактами налажена в дерматовенерологической службе Дагестана не на должном уровне, что отражается на общей картине заболеваемости сифилисом в Дагестане.
